Our Key Largo Vacation Property at Kawama features two South Seas Style beach areas approx 450 feet or a 2 minute stroll from the Elevator. These have thatched palm Tikki shelters and tables, plentiful seating, together with several barbecues (pictures available on the homepage).

There are three swimming pools, two are tiled 'heated' pools including the 'Oasis Pool' completed in 2007 which is conveniently situated just 30 yards from the elevator. Additionally one of the pools is a large palm fringed saltwater swimming lagoon which is approximately 1000 feet long and incorporates swimming platforms for the children and has many colourful Parrot Fish to feed and snorkel with.

There are two floodlit hard tennis courts and a childrens play area.

There is an esplanade which offers fishing opportunities from the point. Keen fisher-folk should ask us about local opportunities for Saltwater Fishing for Bonefish, Permit, Tarpon and other target species for your adventure of Flats Fishing in the Florida Keys.

The marina caters to individuals wishing to bring their own watercraft, with a free to use ramp for renters together with slip rentals.

There are several walkways around the saltwater lake and out to the Esplanade past the beach so you can stretch your legs with a half mile walk round the property. Additionally many early morning walkers and joggers explore the interior paths and roadways of the island, and many walk around the paths adjacent to the Key Largo Community Park which is beautifully landscaped and planted with various tropical fauna.

ADDITIONAL SUPERB SWIMMING FACILITIES
In addition to the pools at Kawama, there is the additional facility of 'Jacobs Aquatic Centre' shown below.
Jacobs is situated 1/2 mile from Kawama at St Croix Place and features a multi lane 25 metre pool, A Dive pool, Pirate Ship with Waterslides and Shallow depth Toddlers Pool. The facility benefits from a constant heated temperature, changing facilities, toilets, pool attendant supervision and is disabled friendly with both lift and ramp access. In all respects this is a fabulous asset on our doorstep in Key Largo
